full circle magazine – now also available in German

As you know from the “About” page my operating system is GNU/Linux. In detail I use Ubuntu which is based on Debian and has become the most popular Linux distribution at all. It’’s famous for its ease of use combined with the ability to control and customize every single detail. I myself have been using Ubuntu since 2004 or 2005, with interruptions, I must admit. Currently I can”t imagine moving to another operating system than Ubuntu
Since April there’’s a new magazine online called full circle magazine. It’’s available as pdf and is released every month, free of charge, of course. Being interested in this idea I discovered that they are looking for people who take part in improving and spreading this certain magazine. So I decided to help and started translating the first release (Issue #0) into German. After it took some time until I figured out how to use the editing program efficiently, I recognized that translating a magazine of 17 pages is a lot of work
. Nevertheless, it’’s been fun to know that what you are doing actually helps spreading this magazine and the spirit of open source which is a good motivation.
If anyone is interested in having a look at this magazine, either in English, German or whatever language is supported, please have a look at fullcirclemagazine.org. The German version can be found here.
